Instructions for Written Work

Notable deviations from the basic rules of APA 7

  • all in-text references must include page numbers 
  • In subject-oriented referencing, you can use the abbreviation op. cit.
  • direct quotes (except for very brief, definition-like ones) and quotes from interview data are indented and written with line spacing 1 (Quotation style)
  • all sources from different databases and electronic data services requiring login are mentioned without the name of the database  
  • URL addresses of electronic sources are not abbreviated 
  • the referencing model for user-generated statistics has been modified 
  • the referencing model for RT cards is based on the model of laws and statutes
