Citing several publications by the same author

When citing several publications by the same author, they are put in chronological order from the oldest to the newest.

If you refer to a given page number, distinguish the references with a semicolon:
 

Mattila (2006, pp. 39–44; 2007, pp. 52–53) criticises earlier research for...

 

If the publications were published in the same year, they are arranged in an alphabetical order by title/name and the alphabets a, b, c, etc. are added to the years:
 

Ristanen and Vanhala (2007a, 2007b) think that...

 

If the publication is undated, it is place first:

Mattila (n.d., 2017a, 2017b, 2019) found that...

 

(Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, n.d.-a, n.d.-b, 2019)
