E-books accessed through a database requiring login 

In the bibliography

Author’s surname, Initial(s) of first name(s). (Year of publication). Title: Subtitle (translator's Initial(s) of first name(s) Surname; edition). Publisher. DOI/URN

  • If the book is accessed through the E-library of SeAMK Library and the user must log in to access it, the link is only given if it is a permanent URN or DOI link. The name of the database is not mentioned. 
  • The DOI identifier  is given in the form https://doi.org/xxxxx . The URN is given in the http://urn.fi/xxxxx . If you cannot find the DOI, you can try to retrieve it using the Crossref service.

  • APA 7 instructs to abbreviate long web addresses. This practice has not been adopted by SeAMK.

  • In the case of audiobooks published by Celia, only aimed at people with reading disabilities, Celia is given as the publisher. The reader (synthetic voice) is not given in references to books by Celia.
