Tips for seeking information.

Library catalogues on the internet

Most libraries provide access to their online catalogues on the internet. You can browse the collections and check if the book is on shelf or checked out or is the resource available online. You can also renew your loans and make reservations.

SeAMK-Finna is Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences Library's own search service. Through SeAMK-Finna you will find information on both printed materials and digital collections available at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. You can also make reservations and renew your loans.

Text books, professional and research literature

You'll need information for your assingments and research. Use SeAMK-Finna when you wish to search literature for your studies and research.

  • textbooks and professional literature - available both in printed and electronic form. You can borrow Ellibs e-books by logging into the service with your SeAMK Library's library card number and PIN code.
  • research publications and reports will also be found on SeAMK-Finna. Also remember open access publications which you can find freely on the internet.
  • for students and staff of the university, international e-book collections (ProQuest Ebook Central and Ebsco eBook Collection) are open 24/7 through remote access. Log in to the services with your SeAMK user name and password.
