The present Instructions for Writing Master’s Theses are used by all the Master’s Degree Programmes of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. The Instructions are based on the legislation governing the Master’s Degrees of the universities of applied sciences (Universities of Applied Sciences Act 932/2014; Valtioneuvoston asetus ammattikorkeakouluista 1129/2014) and the Degree Regulations of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, which are annually updated. The Instructions observe Arene’s national-level thesis policy. If necessary, the Instructions are complemented with Degree Programme-specific instructions.
SeAMK’s Instructions for Written Work is observed in the writing of the thesis, the use of sources, and in the implementation of bibliographic references.
It is advisable to become familiar with the instructions on accessibility as early as the beginning of the thesis process.
